Gritty Vibes Studios handled each stage of the process from funding the film to writing, editing, shooting, directing, producing, and marketing the project. Motion Design Work: The Program NYC
We got the call from The Program NYC ( A new state of the art basketball facility backed by Jay-Z and Carmelo Anthony) to make their official announcement/sales video Gritty Vibes Studios handled the editing, motion design/3D, and scriptwriting for this project.
Client Spotlight: Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning
Gritty Vibes Studios collaborated with Queens-based nonprofit Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning on retainer for a calendar year. As a part of the collab, we produced monthly videos and still photography for a wide range of JCAL’s events and initiatives. The result was a boom in JCAL’s attendance and online platforms.

Meet the Founders
Founded by two storytellers at heart, Gritty Vibes Studio's story begins in Queens, New York. After years of successful collaborations, longtime friends Derrick Saint Pierre and Tyrel Hunt decided to join forces officially -- each bringing their own skillset and body of work to the company.
Derrick Saint Pierre's lengthy resume includes collaborations with high-profile companies -- he's worked behind the camera with brands like Foot Locker, Esquire, Reebok, Puma, Men's Health and much more.
Tyrel Hunt has made a name as a marketer and multi-award-winning filmmaker. He's written, edited, and directed two acclaimed feature films -- his most recent film "The Sound of Southside" was made in collaboration with Derrick Saint Pierre.
Together, Tyrel Hunt and Derrick Saint Pierre's skillset covers the full spectrum of film-making responsibilities. The duo approaches each project with care, professionalism, and a rare chemistry that makes their work one of a kind.
